Following the Branch meeting, Mick Southall has kindly offered to do a presentation on the exploits of B Company 3rd Bn The Parachute Regiment during the 1982 Falklands campaign. it would be reat to see a big crowd to support the fantastic presentation.

Branch Meeting

Branch meeting at The Cricketers Pub, River at 7pm in the upstairs function room. Following the meeting there will be a presentation by a member of the PRA about SFSG and their role in the modern day Army.

The AGM will take place at the Dover Marina Hotel, Dover. The AGM will take place at 1830hrs following the meeting there will be a three course meal and disco. Visit to the National Arboretum near Lichfield, Staffs. The PRA secretary is organising a mini-bus and accommodation for the weekend. Hougham Garage Safari

Tea, coffee, cakes, sausage and bacon butties will be served in the village hall. Parking is available on the village green. All proceeds go towards the outside refurbishment of the hall.

The Queens Platinum Jubilee Street Party

Let’s celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee together. Bring your own chairs and tables, food and drink. The hall will be open. If you could let Christine know if you are thinking of coming to carechristine5@gmail.com so we can monitor the numbers.

Any donations of homemade cakes and raffle prizes would be appreciated. A raffle will be held to raise funds for the continued refurbishment of the outside of the hall.
